Lana Del Rey

I am so obsessed with this lady right now. Her voice is so different and she's full of mystery...I find her intriguing!! She won Best International Act at the BRITS this year. Below are her 2 singles and a live performance of one of my favs from her for you to listen to if you like

Yeah I like her too - interesting to see where she goes. I watched her much reported SNL performance - seemed fine to me, just a bit nervous.

Over 25.5 million hits on "Born to Die"! I really do not understand what relates to the numbers.

She looks beautiful, and the studio songs sound good, but I just don't get it for that many hits.

As to being nervous and having a bad night, I can understand, but I think the live performances are where you separate the good from the great.

I know I read that Joss said she has been so nervous before going on stage in front of a very large crowd that she threw up, but, I can not remember ever seeing her do bad once she took the stage. A studio can make just about anyone sound good, maybe even me.... no, nothing could help me.

You don't have to apologise JossStoneLetras!! Everyone is entitled to their opinion. I think her style is very different & refreshing compared to Lady Gaga, Rihanna and all the other mainstream artists at the moment. I've seen her with fans too and she seems so sweet!!

I do understand what you mean though
