Mick Jagger warned Rolling Stones fans Sunday that they might get no satisfaction next year when the band reaches its 50th anniversary.

Jagger, who's currently rocking with his new act, SuperHeavy (featuring Eurythmics' Dave Stewart, Joss Stone, Damian Marley and film composer A.R. Rahman), told the UK's the Sun that people shouldn't hold their breath waiting for an anniversary tour.

"A band gets trapped," Jagger said of the Stones, who played their first gig in London in July 1962. "When a band starts as a blues band, it always remains sort of true to that."

Jagger's comments follow a reported meeting he had last week with his Stones mates, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood. With the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, it was rumored the Stones could use that huge global stage to kick off an anniversary tour.

Jagger and Richards reportedly had some behind-the-scenes issues following Richards' mocking of the front man in his recent memoir, "Life." In May, however, Richards hinted that he and Jagger were fine and the band was discussing plans to celebrate the 50-year mark.
