Q: Hi, Joss Stone, I would like to know your nationality?
A: English.

Q: Now that already are not a novice in the world of music, in that way you inspire in the lyrics of your songs?
A: I don't really know.

Q: who do you like to listen to?
A: I listen to a lot of old music that has been good for years and will always be, like Otis Redding, Roberta Flack, Tracy Chapman, Melissa Etheridge, Anita Baker…this list goes on. As far as new artists, at the moment I really like the fact that we have some great voices coming through, especially since most of them are from England, it makes me pretty proud to be from the same place. Adele is the obvious, top of the list of course. Then there is Lianne La Havas who I will be singing with on the 19th of September on a French TV show called Taratata, that will be fun. There is a lady named Yolanda Quartey who sings in a group called Phantom Limb, really great voice and great sound in general, the album "Phantom Limb" by them is my favorite. There is also another young lady Ava Leigh, I popped up a clip of her making her album on Facebook and my website on the blog a couple days ago, she really has something quite beautiful to share with the world, so check it out! xoxox
