Re: The Love We Had
I strongly suspect a personal schism with "More Love" thing. Neither has mentioned the other since.

That does make sense. Although, there was this: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10151419482747133&set=a.10150176222057133.299167.12134457132&type=3&theater

Re: The Love We Had
There were lots of whispers that they had fallen out but I reckon it was a nice idea that they started and didn't quite finish. Joss recently said she'll work with Dave again so I'm sure all is ok in wonderland
Totally agree with you 1Jsfan that there should've been an explanation to the fans, wasn't we told the tour was going to be in June or July from their MoreLove facebook page? I remember booking off holidays at work for it, I won't be doing that again until the tickets are available to buy on the inkleweb.
Lets keep positive though guys and gals, we know the record label promo is but I say accept it's not being run as it could be and be thankful the actual music isn't being done half assed aswell

Whatever else, Joss's music is always the best. Her, passion and love of music is beyond reproach. Her energy and can-do atitude too. Whatever she does she does all out it seems to me, but everyone needs help in the areas that are not their game. That is what we have lacking here. That's what I think.

Re: The Love We Had
According to Joss' facebook page 'The Love We Had' video will be released on 24th July on Vevo or July 24 as stated by her team
At least her staff are communicating to the fans now, don't take my word for it though with it being released on July 24th

Re: The Love We Had
I did see that.
I also noticed that her Q&A blog has not been updated for several months (last Jan) but more disturbing to me was that as I read through some of the posts I found some that were, rather unsettling.
I'm not sure what their policy is as far as what can be posted, and I could understand legitimate critical posts if that's what they want to do, but I saw a few that were totally inappropriate and outright inflammatory and belligerent. For example, one ask if the reason she has put on so much weight, which is unusual for a Vegan, is that she is actually pregnant!
I ask you, does that look like someone running that page is not up to speed to allow such a post? There are a few more that I won't mention, but indicate that the page is not being monitored well.
I did not get the impression (the way it was worded, I'm paraphrasing) that it was just a poorly stated joke, but rather a mean comment.
Someone here should go take a look and maybe I'm just reading too much into things. If you read them and think I'm just taking it wrong, please let me know.
By the way, these appear in the latest posts. I used to keep up more and don't remember such remarks in the past.

Re: The Love We Had
Actually that's quite mild There are only a couple of clearly "passive/aggresive" ones. Considering she has not done a Q&A for a bit that's not bad.
She needs a clear PR strategy that she can maintain and stick to - doing Q&As etc, and then letting them wither on the vine, is very bad PR.
I'm pretty sure there are apps available that let you update all your social media/blogs/websites in one go.
There are actors/musicians out there who have a pretty good grasp of their online image - check out "Felicia Day", "Natasha Bedingfield" and plenty of others.

Re: The Love We Had
Well worth the wait!!
Did you see the comment from the Dells? What more can you say?

Joss, What can we say?
We (The Dells) never knew that a 'Soul-Singer' from The UK
would contribute to our legacy, by 'Covering' "The Love We Had"
and doing an excellent job. Anyone that will take on: the Soulful Voice of The
late Marvin Junior, receives big time 'Props' from The Dells, because most can't.
In order to 'sing' a song like this, you have to 'live' a song like this. "you brought it home" and we thank you ........The Dells
Thanks: The Dells

Watching this Video, shows the enormous talent of this
young lady, Joss Stone, singing her 'Cover' of The Dells hit,
"The Love We Had / Stays On My Mind" Please Note:
This is a Live Performance, which let's the world know,
that she's more than just a studio artist, but a great soulful performer.
She'll be around for a long time ......The Mighty Dells
