OMG, this song sends my mind back to a coldish night on Exeter High Street.. Oh what a Night!!

I'd been busking a few songs before I was approached by a young rapper(Ben), who wanted to jam & jam we did.. After a fair while I was approached by a chav girl(Alexis), who stopped by to listen in.. The young rapper pushed & pushed his own desires to the point where young Alexis told B to OFF back to Bristol.. He stormed off, re-muttering lyrics under his breath.

Shortly after the outburtst , 2 police officers approached & checked I was all right as someone had reported here someone threaten to stab me?!? I told them that I had heard anything & didn't feel threatened, they said they'd pull'd him & found no knife, not to worry.. What I didn't feel I needed to mention was that the rapper had been miss-heard & that what he'd really said was "I'll stab you in the eye with a biro ".. lyrics + no worries , I did say to hime to try & lose the negativity, wonder what ever happended to him

Alexis stayed for what seemed hours, through many gatherings of people & many lulls, pushing me further on into the night, when really all I wanted, was get a coffee & know this woman..


It was dawn before Alexis walked away down the street, removing the 1st items(heels) of her chav "fancy dress" & as she walked one way, I walked the other In all a perfect encapsulated peice of time in-memori

It funny though, those missed fleeting chances.. who cares how smell or appear.. It's how we feel that counts will hold you forever

.. have been thinking about this story again since I re-called it;

I know I've seen Alexis on a few occasions, not just that night, but they've merge into 1 night in my memory.. quite what that say's, I'm not sure.. A Blessed Memory

Ben was last seen wearing a suit & singing Soul music, with a story & lessons to learn.. whatever next?!?
